We are happy to share some wonderful news with you all today. Vijaya Lakshmi, a speech and hearing-impaired ( #PwD ) young woman, has just landed her first job at Amazon , hats off to her hard work and dedication.
We first connected with Vijaya Lakshmi’s family during the pandemic when we supported them with ration kits through Covid support program and helped them set up a Kirana shop as part of our livelihoods program.
I met her on her graduation day at the PwD Skilling Center supported by Qualcomm .
Vijaya Lakshmi’s story is truly inspiring, and we want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to her on this incredible achievement. Disability does not define a person’s abilities or potential, and Vijaya Lakshmi is a shining example of what can be achieved with hard work and determination.
