As part of CSR initiative, Silicon Labs, in partnership with Nirmaan Organization and GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation), have conducted Lake Cleaning Program at Nerella Lake, Kondapur, Hyderabad on 13th April 2022.
The participation of 25 volunteers from Silicon Labs, 15 volunteers from Nirmaan Organization, and 10 volunteers from the local community shows the dedication and commitment towards environmental conservation.
Collecting and removing 1600KGs of plastic and other waste from the lake is a significant achievement. Removing this amount of waste will not only improve the aesthetics of the lake but also contribute to the overall health and well-being of the local ecosystem.
Having Mr.Varinder, Director, SQA of Silicon Labs, join as the chief guest highlights the importance of corporate social responsibility and the commitment of Silicon Labs towards environmental sustainability.
