Impact Hiring Telangana

Nirmaan, with the support of Microsoft, is addressing this issue through the Impact Hiring Program, which establishes Hiring Hubs to connect skilled youth with employers, providing guidance and support. This initiative empowers underprivileged youth, including women, PwD, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those from economically weaker sections, facilitating their entry into the job market and fostering economic and social empowerment. Nirmaan's goal is to positively impact the lives of 1000 underprivileged young girls and place 600 individuals in various sectors, making a lasting difference in the nation's youth employment landscape.

The youth in India, particularly those from underprivileged and marginalized communities, face significant challenges in accessing education and employment opportunities. Despite a 75% literacy rate among the youth, high unemployment persists due to a lack of essential communication and interpersonal skills. The pandemic has worsened the situation, leaving students uncertain about their career paths and practical experience.

Telangana, a state rich in cultural heritage, holds a diverse and vibrant tapestry of traditions and practices. While the state has made significant strides in improving literacy rates and educational facilities, there are still pockets of underprivileged and marginalized communities that have obstacles in finding suitable employment, with many lacking the necessary skills and guidance to secure jobs in a competitive job market.

To address this issue, Nirmaan, in collaboration with various Departments of Social, Tribal Welfare, and Women and child welfare Department, has come up with Impact Hiring Program in Telangana. With the right support and opportunities, the youth of Telangana can continue to carry forward their cultural legacy while also shaping a promising and inclusive future for themselves and their communities.
