Impact Hiring Delhi(NCR)

The youth in India, particularly those from underprivileged and marginalized communities, face significant challenges in accessing education and employment opportunities. Despite a 75% literacy rate among the youth, high unemployment persists due to a lack of essential communication and interpersonal skills. The pandemic has worsened the situation, leaving students uncertain about their career paths and practical experience.

Nirmaan, with the support of Microsoft, is addressing this issue through the Impact Hiring Program, which establishes Hiring Hubs to connect skilled youth with employers, providing guidance and support. This initiative empowers underprivileged youth, including women, PwD, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those from economically weaker sections, facilitating their entry into the job market and fostering economic and social empowerment. Nirmaan's goal is to positively impact the lives of 1000 underprivileged young girls and place 600 individuals in various sectors, making a lasting difference in the nation's youth employment landscape.

Delhi, being the capital city of India, offers a wide range of employment opportunities across various sectors. However, despite the abundance of opportunities, Delhi's job market also presents challenges for the youth. The competition for jobs is intense, making it challenging for young individuals to secure stable employment. Additionally, a significant portion of Delhi's youth comes from underprivileged and marginalized backgrounds, facing barriers such as limited access to quality education and skill development programs. This hinders their chances of landing suitable jobs in a highly competitive market.

Nirmaan's Impact Hiring Program can play a crucial role in addressing the employment challenges faced by Delhi's youth. By establishing Impact Hiring Hubs and collaborating with various institutions, the program can create a platform for connecting skilled youth with employers. Through targeted training and skill development initiatives, Nirmaan can equip underprivileged and marginalized youth in Delhi with relevant skills and certifications that align with the job market's demands.
