About the Program
In general, the public have started giving due recognition for the qualitative education to their children. Parents have started choosing the best schools for sending their children to acquire qualitative education. In the process neighborhood schools run by the local government are being neglected and they are not considered as best schools by the respective communities. In view of this, the present project is to gain community confidence on the existing government schools especially in the poorer communities.
Hence, the project is to provide 2000 desk benches for 8,000 children in high schools in the areas of R.I. District 3150 in the State of Telangana. This will also reinforce the children’s Right to Learn Program under implementation by Rotary. This will be a trendsetter in the community and lead to remarkable improvement in the ambience of the High Schools in the State. The image of Rotary will get a big boost in the community with this Project.
