“I am Pavani Dhuli, and I have completed my Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. During my SSE examinations, I scored 9.2 CGPA, which led to my selection for the Nirmaan Scholarship and Mentorship Program. My father worked as a daily wager, and my mother is a housewife. Unfortunately, I lost my father recently. During that difficult time, I received immense support from the Nirmaan Scholarship and Mentorship program, which helped me stay focused on my goals.
From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a software engineer, but I didn’t know the steps to achieve that goal. Through this mentorship program, I gained valuable guidance on the opportunities available to me, the courses I should pursue, the colleges to consider, and their fee structures. The program also provided me with a mentor who helped me develop interview skills through mock interviews. I attended these mock interviews, participated in soft skills training, and visited companies to experience corporate culture and learn how teams work.
Thanks to the scholarship I received, I was able to meet my education needs, and in my third year, I was even given a laptop. With this support and guidance, I secured a job at Accenture with a 4.6 LPA package. This mentorship will continue for six years, or possibly until the end of my course. I can also continue the relationship with my mentor throughout my life.
