HYSEA in partnership with Government of Telangana and Nirmaan as the nodal NGO partner, is planning to establish Digital Labs at various Government High Schools which have supportive school managements and good students strength. The objective of the program is to provide Computer Education to the students of Government High Schools so that the children will be able to use the computers as the secondary source of learning while teachers being the primary source.
Vidya HelpLine is one of the flagship projects of Nirmaan Organization (www.nirmaan.org) started in 2010 with a focus on career guidance to economically backward students and dropouts, especially from rural areas, enabling them to make effective educational and career choices thereby helping them achieve eventual economic empowerment.
Nirmaan Organization has recruited about 160+ trainers and about 15+ senior resource persons have been supporting the implementation of the project. The project is directly overseen by the governing board members of Nirmaan Organization. Each district has been allotted a district coordinator, a regional divisional coordinator followed by senior trainers and trainers.
NSMP program mainly supports the merit and financially needy students. NSMP targets the students after class 12th. NSMP, started in the year 2008, aims to provide monetary help and career guidance to the meritorious but financially constrained students to pursue their professional degrees. Nirmaan identifies the students on merit cum need basis for scholarships and provides financial assistance and mentorship to guide the students in the right direction to realize their dreams.
After receiving Rs 70 crore in donations during the first wave of the pandemic, Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (Hysea) has been able to mobilise over Rs 13 crore in less than three weeks’ time during the second wave of the pandemic in Telangana. Through these donations, Hysea and member companies along with NGO Nirmaan are looking to step up its fight against the pandemic.
