Empowering Girls, Shaping Futures!

We at Nirmaan Organization were honored to welcome the Senior Leadership Team of PepsiCo to one of our partner schools, as part of our ongoing Career Guidance & Counselling Program under the Learn Today, Give Tomorrow initiative.

In partnership with PepsiCo, this initiative aims to impact 100,000 girl students from high schools and undergraduate colleges across India—offering career guidance, leadership development, and entrepreneurship sessions to help them make informed and empowered choices about their futures.

The recent school visit was a deeply engaging and insightful experience. Ms. Antara Kapoor passionately spoke about the importance of choosing a career path and higher education based on individual interests, not peer influence. Mr. Matt Smith, Senior Director – Strategy at PepsiCo, inspired the girls to dream bigger, pursue higher studies, and believe in greater opportunities for their careers.
We were also thrilled to have Mr. Kareem Mohamed from Egypt, whose presence and words brought a global perspective and added immense value to the dialogue.

Students from business schools also shared how the awareness programs have already begun to positively transform the lives of young girls, equipping them with the confidence and clarity to pursue their aspirations.

A heartfelt thank you to the PepsiCo leadership and the Business School Team for their unwavering support in this mission. Together, we are helping young women across India rise with purpose and power.

Empowering Young Minds: Evernorth's 'Back to School' Drive Brings Hope to 300 Children in Need

What greater gift can we offer children without families than education and the hope for a brighter future -something they truly deserve?

On May 5th and 7th, Evernorth Health Services India, in collaboration with Nirmaan Organization, successfully organized a heartwarming ‘Back to School’ kit packing and distribution drive at their office in Sattva Knowledge Park, Hyderabad.

With Nirmaan as the facilitating partner: * 200+ Evernorth volunteers came together on May 5th to pack 300 school kits filled with essential supplies.

* On May 7th, these kits were distributed across four orphanage homes, i.e., RFI Home for Girls in Falaknuma, SES in Snehaghar, Ashritha Rainbow Home in Doodbowli, and SRD Rainbow Home, directly benefiting 300 children.

Hunar Prayaas Empowers 1100+ Youth in Telangana Through Skill Training and Graduation Ceremony

Hunar Prayaas, a pioneering youth empowerment initiative launched by Mindspace Business Parks REIT in collaboration with nirmaan.org, has successfully trained 1100+ students across Telangana. On April 25, 2025, we celebrated their achievement with a graduation ceremony at our Secunderabad Skill Centre.

These students, hailing from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, have successfully completed training in diverse fields such as electrical work, solar PV installation, full-stack Java development, data analytics, food and beverage services, retail, IT skills, and more, across our centers in Chandanagar, Suraram, ECIL, and Secunderabad.

It was an honor to have Mr. Ankur S., Senior Manager – HR, as our Chief Guest. His inspiring words deeply resonated with our students and left a lasting impact.

Silicon Labs and Nirmaan Unite for a Greener Earth Day 2025

What better way to honor hashtag#EarthDay than by giving back to our planet?

On April 22, 2025, 36 passionate volunteers from Silicon Labs came together to support environmental sustainability and local wildlife. Organized by Nirmaan and held at the Silicon Labs Office, the event featured two meaningful, hands-on activities:

- Upcycling used water bottles into eco-friendly bird feeders to help birds stay nourished during the harsh summer
- Making reusable paper bags as a sustainable alternative to single-use plastics

These thoughtful actions not only reduced waste but also reflected our shared commitment to protecting the planet and promoting greener habits.

HR Conclave on Impact Hiring Empowers Inclusive Workforce in Kochi

The HR Conclave on Impact Hiring, hosted by Nirmaan Organization with support from the Infosys Foundation, was successfully held in Kochi, Kerala on April 22, 2025.

The conclave, which aims to help companies hire skilled professionals from underprivileged backgrounds and create more equal job opportunities, was inaugurated by Dr. P. Pugazhendi Palani, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Finance, Budget & Audit) and Head, Social Forestry Wing & Chief Conservator of Forests (IT).

90+ HR leaders, industry professionals, and social sector changemakers came together to witness and participate in engaging panel discussions, case studies, and showcases. The conclave had participation from top organizations like Infosys, UST, Cognizant, and Holiday Inn Cochin

We also celebrated the launch of Nirmaan’s Kochi Centre, expanding our reach in Kerala. At Nirmaan, we operate 56+ skill centers across 20 locations in 9 states, working relentlessly to bridge the gap between skilled talent and meaningful employment opportunities for marginalized communities.

Spreading Smiles: emagine’s Heartwarming Day with the Children of Immadihalli

How often do we get the chance to be the reason behind a child’s smile?

On April 18, 2025, emagine, along with 18 volunteers, visited Bridge Camp Girls Home and Sankara Boys Home at Immadihalli, Whitefield, Bangalore, and distributed grocery kits to 100 children as part of the Food Bank Initiative by Nirmaan.org

Along with providing nutritious meals, the volunteers spent the day playing fun games, having friendly conversations, and sharing lessons on hygiene and healthy habits.

The day was made even more special when Mr. Sreelij Sreedharan, Managing Director of emagine, joined the children, shared warm moments, and spoke inspiring words that showed emagine’s strong commitment to social responsibility.

We thank emagine and all the volunteers for bringing smiles, happiness to these children!

Compassion in Action: Supporting Our Feathered Friends

Amid the scorching summer heat, 121 incredible volunteers from Carrier came together on April 8, 2025, at the Carrier Office to craft bird feeders, ensuring our feathered friends have access to food and water when they need it most.

This thoughtful activity, organized by Nirmaan.org, aimed to raise awareness about caring for animals during extreme weather conditions and to promote our shared responsibility as stewards of the environment.

We were honored to have Mr. Steve Rudderham, Global Leader of Carrier Business Services, and Mrs. Carla Lapa Pinto, Global Service Excellence Leader of Carrier Business Services joining us to support the cause with great enthusiasm.

Breaking Barriers: 2,400 Women Graduate from Women in Tech Center

For many women, access to quality training, mentorship, and career pathways has been limited. But not anymore.

We are proud to announce the successful graduation of the Women in Tech Center, supported by State Street and implemented by Nirmaan Organization!

This initiative is breaking barriers and bridging the gender gap in technology by equipping women with industry-relevant skills and unlocking career opportunities.

This year (2024-25), 2,400 women graduated across 6 cities including Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Pune, and Mumbai, stepping into the tech industry with confidence and expertise.

ServiceNow Leads Village Transformation in Mulugu District

ServiceNow, our esteemed donor, took a significant step in transforming Inchencheruvupally, a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) village in Mulugu District, Telangana, as part of its CSR commitment under Nirmaan's One Corporate-One Village initiative.

On March 29, 2025, the Hon’ble Minister Danasari Seethakka, Minister of Women & Child Welfare, Telangana, laid the foundation stone for this transformative journey, joined by senior leaders from ServiceNow, including Ms. Snehlata Mishra, and Nirmaan’s Founder & Global CEO, Mr. Mayur Patnala Kankanala (India/Bharat).

Transforming Mulugu: Village Adoption Program LaunchedOn March 29, 2025, Hon’ble Minister Dr. D. Anasuya Seethakka inaugurated a transformational village adoption program for four tribal villages in Mulugu District!

As part of Nirmaan's One Corporate - One Village initiative, OpenText has adopted Jagannapeta, LB Nagar, Kodishalakunta, and Chandru Thanda in Mulugu. Through this initiative, we aim to address key developmental needs in these villages, including the provision of livelihood kits, school transformations, toilet renovations, solar panel installations, borewells, RO water plants, and administrative block support.

OpenText is also supporting local wrestlers, helping them chase their dreams.

Empowering Abilities: State Street Distributes Assistive Kits in Hyderabad

On March 28, 2025, State Street distributed Locomotor Disabilities & Hearing Impairment kits to Persons with Disabilities of our Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) skill center in Vidyanagar, Hyderabad.

This EDP project, supported by State street, has made a lasting impact by empowering 16 individuals through this transformative program.

The event was graced by esteemed leaders from State street, including Mr. Chiranjeevi (Chiru) Kumar Koppula, Managing Director – Global Human Resources; Mr. Rajesh Gangaputra, Managing Director – Finance; and the Core CC Council Team members – Ms. Rupali Agarwal, Ms. Ramya, Ms. Veena, Mr. Anurag, and Mr. Bharadwaj, who have been instrumental in driving this initiative.

Inspiring Futures: Students Explore ISRO & T-Hub with Qualcomm

Successfully hosted a 2-day scientific exposure visit for 120+ Intermediate students to the ISRO Regional Centre and T-Hub, Hyderabad

On March 26th and 27th, 2025, Qualcomm, through its CSR initiatives with Nirmaan, provided students with an exclusive opportunity to witness groundbreaking advancements in space technology and entrepreneurship. At ISRO Regional Centre, students explored satellites, space missions, and real-world applications of space science.

Meanwhile, at T-Hub, they immersed themselves in the world of startups, emerging technologies, and entrepreneurial innovations.
