Celebrating Pride, Every Day: Honoring Strength, Visibility, and Belonging at Nirmaan

Recognizing and celebrating the strength, resilience, and contributions of our nine hashtag#LGBTQIA+ team members, the Nirmaan family came together at our Headquarters and Global Impact Capability Center on June 30th to celebrate hashtag#Pride Month. We have long stood in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community, and as part of our strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), we continue to lead impactful initiatives focused on upliftment, upskilling, and empowerment.

At Nirmaan, Pride is not just a month, it’s a mindset. That’s why we celebrate Pride Year. Initiatives like Satrangi Sankalp, our flagship training and skilling program, and Hope in a Cup, a community-run café model, are creating pathways to entrepreneurship, self-employment, and dignified livelihoods. With five cafés, Hope in a Cup stands as a powerful symbol of pride, visibility, and purpose.

As we gathered to honor their journeys, the challenges they have overcome and the milestones they have achieved, we also reaffirmed our shared commitment: to walk together, and to keep building a world where everyone belongs.
