On 17-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Micron" has conducted a summer camp on "Computer Basics, Notepad and MS office". 15 volunteers from "Micron" have imparted knowledge to the students of ZPHS Ganesh nagar. The volunteers also conducted a quiz competition and distributed gifts to the top 10 students who actively participated in the quiz. On day 6 of summer camp i.e., 17-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Digital Literacy and Basics of Coding" to the students of ZPHS Girmapur.5 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 35 students for 2 hours. Session was very informative and it gave the students a fundamental idea about the concepts of coding. On day 6 of summer camp i.e., 17-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Basics of computers and STEM" to the students of ZPHS Jagathgirinagar.19 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 125 students for 2 hours. The students were excited to learn the programming concepts throug drag and drop interfaces and throughly enjoyed the session. On day 5 of summer camp i.e., 16-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Digital Literacy" to the students of ZPHS Girampur.5 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 36 students for 2 hours. The session covered various topics ranging from different types of computers to learning porgramming concepts by drag and drop exercises. These exercises made it easy for the students to understand the concepts of programming. On day 5 of summer camp i.e., 16-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Digital Literacy and Fundamentals of Coding" to the students of ZPHS Jagathgirinagar.21 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 120 students for 2 hours. Session was very informative and it gave the students a fundamental idea about the concepts of coding. On day 4 of summer camp i.e., 13-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Digital Literacy and Programming Concepts" to the students of ZPHS Malkajgiri.6 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 18 students for 2 hours. The session covered various types of programming langugaes, algorithms and basics of computer components. "Loop with Bee" program was the special attraction of the session and students enjoyed it thoroughly. On day 4 of summer camp i.e., 13-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Digital Literacy and Introduction to Scratch" to the students of ZPHS Hydernagar and ZPHS Chintalguda.11 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 30 students for 2 hours. Students were very much interested and enjoyed learning about scratch platform. On Day x of summer camp i.e., 12-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Digital Literacy" to the students of ZPHS Chintalguda. 11 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 30 students for 2 hours. It covered various topics ranging from "Introduction of computers" to "Being safe online" and was very interactive and informative. We from Nirmaan organization express our sincere gratitude to the volunteers and the partner for the valuable time and knowledge.
Have touched 63 Covid affected families(32 from Rangareddy district & 31 from Hyderabad district) through the rehabilitation of the covid affected families program. Nirmaan team collected data from the women from the Department of Women Development & Child welfare. Connected personally with the needy families, collected the type of rehab needed, and distributed it to them. To name a few distributed Sewing machines, Kirana shop material, Pico machine, Beautician kit, and many more… The Livelihood kits support given to Covid affected widow families will enable them to restart their livelihood. These are the same families, which are severely impacted by the death of their husbands in the COVID-19 pandemic, and their livelihoods almost shut down due to the low volume of business. Thanks to Pegasystems for supporting the Rehabilitation program.

On 11-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "EY" has conducted a session on "Workplace Readiness". 3 volunteers from "EY" have imparted knowledge on different skills required in a workplace to 40 beneficiaries for 2 hours. It covered various skills like communication, team work, Interpersonal skills and adaptability etc. The session was quite informative and engaging and helped the beneficiaries to assess their current skills and determine the areas of improvement. From 10th May onwards, Summer camp has been started for various ZPHS schools across Telangana with the support of Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant". The main focus of this summer camp is to provide Digital Literacy to the students and educate them in basic concepts of programming through interactive practical sessions. This initiative is started with ZPHS Jagathgiri nagar School. 10 volunteers from "Cognizant" interacted with 60 students for 2 hours.
