Volunteering Session on “Menstrual Hygeiene” For Women.

On 07-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Pega" has conducted a session on "Menstrual Hygeiene". 1 volunteer from "Pega" have imparted knowledge to the women for 1 hour. The session was very interactive and stressed on the importance of nutritious food during periods. The discussion on cultural and religious taboos on menstruation was useful for the women. We from Nirmaan organization express our sincere gratitude to the volunteers and the partner for the valuable time and knowledge.

Volunteering session on “Career Pathways” ZPHS Jagathgirnagar.

On 07-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Pepsico India" has conducted a session on "Career Pathways". 3 volunteers from "Pepsico India" have imparted knowledge to 45 students of ZPHS Jagathgirnagar. The session helped the students understand different career alternatives available for them. Volunteering session on "Yoga and Meditation"

On 07-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "CGI" has conducted a session on "Yoga and Meditation". 3 volunteers from "CGI" have imparted knowledge on purpose and advantages of yoga and mediation to 45 students from ZPHS school, Pochampally. The session made the students understand the importance of these traditional Indian practices and encouraged them to made it a part of their life. We from Nirmaan organization express our sincere gratitude to the volunteers and the partner for the valuable time and knowledge.

Girls’ Day Out in Inorbit Event

Inorbit has been frontrunner in support of girls cause. Inorbit came forward last year and supported girl students in their education by donating tabs during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This was done in collaboration with WDCW Department, Government of Telangana(GoT) and Nirmaan Organization.  This year they are organizing a special day for underprivileged girls at their mall in Hyderabad. On this special day, 60 girl students from underprivileged backgrounds(orphans, semi-orphans, marginalized communities) of the age group of 15-22 years hailing from the state homes run by Department of WD&CW with a unique experience. This special day is planned on 19th April 2022 (Tuesday) from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During this day, there are various activities and experience they are being provided with, which includes, 3 hours of Movie screening, followed by group lunch and 1 hour of entertainment activities in the mall.

Your volunteering time on Motivation Session is greatly appreciated as this has increased the confidence level of our students and will help them in achieving their career goals. All of our beneficiaries really enjoyed the session. The Q & A part really helped them to resolve all of their queries related to entry-level jobs. Experience shared by volunteers in building an early career and how to work for long term career goals help our beneficiaries to get more clarity on setting SMART goals. We appreciate volunteers making time in their busy schedules to share their expertise with our beneficiaries. Celebrate International Women’s Day in Government Schools at Bengaluru, Chennai & Hyderabad.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Technology leaders from Wells Fargo conducted a session to motivate high-school students from government schools in Bengaluru, Chennai & Hyderabad recently. Team Nirmaan Organization would like to thank Mili Joseph Pallavi Chippagiri and Parul Ghosh from Wells Fargo for sharing their personal stories and lessons learnt at the workplace during the interactive session, which helped motivate our students. The students enjoyed listening to the stories and anecdotes shared by the leaders on many aspects from their childhood years. The session encouraged students to cultivate good habits, be organized and learn to develop a habit of reading and writing. The leaders encouraged students to believe in themselves and that nothing is impossible to achieve if they have a goal and work towards it with dedication. Volunteering session on “ GBS Employees Especially Women and Girls in Our Communities.”

"If our hopes of building a better and safer world are to become more than wishful thinking, we will need the engagement of volunteers more than ever."-Kofi Anan As part of #GivingBack to the society, PepsiCo GBS provides its employees a unique opportunity to create an impact. Nirmaan Organization, as a partner to PepsiCo GBS organized #Volunteering sessions where PepsiCo GBS Employees undertake volunteering sessions to improve the lives of persons underprivileged backgrounds especially women and girls in our communities. In the last few months, PepsiCo GBS volunteers conducted various sessions on #Mentoring and #CareerCounseling, #SpokenEnglish, Workplace Readiness, #PersonalityDevelopment & interview skills. The beneficiaries included school students, youth and women from our skill training centers, with special focus on girl students. 60+ volunteers clocked in an impressive 75+Volunteering hours and touched lives of ~ 200 beneficiaries. The session was lauded by all attendees, who received valuable insights to help them in their day to day life and career growth. It was overall an enlightening and insightful experience! We at Nirmaan Organization, profusely thank all the PepsiCo GBS and the volunteers for making the sessions interactive, informative, and useful. We truly appreciate and recognize their valuable time and efforts for the Volunteering activity and look forward to collaborating on more events in the future. Established a Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Oxygen Plant at Nizamabad Government Hospital

Nirmaan in collaboration with Qualcomm has established a Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen generating plant at Nizamabad government general hospital. This plant produces 90-93% purity of oxygen which is adequate for most of medical uses. This plant generates 1000 LPM oxygen which is sufficient to feed 120 ICU beds in the hospital. In medicine oxygen is used during surgery, intensive care treatment, inhalation therapy, etc. It also assists in respiratory problems, saving lives, increasing patients comfort, etc. It is useful for hospitals where demand of oxygen is high enough to make cylinder deliveries a logistical problem but where liquid deliveries are unavailable or very costly. Thank you, Qualcomm, for coming forward to establish such a plant which could benefit a huge population.

List of Donated Equipment: PICU Beds - 25, 5-Para Cardiac Monitors - 4, Portable X ray - 1, 12 lead ECG (portable) - 1, Blood group semi-automated analyzers - 1, Defibrillator - 3, Glucometer Strips - 1, Portable Ultrasound - 1, Ventilators - 4, Non intensive ventilator – 4, High Frequency ventilator – 1, Pediatric laryngoscope – 3, Warmer – 4, Bed side table – 25, In pole (Infusion pole) – 25, Bed side chair – 25, X ray view box – 1, Refrigerator – 1, Vein Finder - VEINEUX AR 100 with stand – 3, Digital radiogram – 1, CTG Machine – 3, Fetal Doppler Machine – 3, ENMG System – 1, Digital EEG system - 1, Weigh machine - 4, BP Apparatus with pediatric & adult cuff(Diamond co) – 14, AIR Conditioning - 6, Plywood Ceiling work - 1, Windows Repair & Curtains and room painting. Impact Story of PICU Ward: This PICU ward supported by Infosys and will be used for the treatment of children and women for Covid and respiratory problems. This ward is going to benefit around 10,000 to 12,000 people in a year. The facility was successfully inaugurated by Ms. Padmaja Ramani, Talent Head-Europe Region & CSR Leader, Infosys and Mr. Shiva Prasad Karadi, Sr. Consultant, Infosys in the presence of Mayur Patnala, Founder & CEO, Nirmaan Organization @V.
