On 26-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Fundamentals of Coding and Introduction to Scratch". 4 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 40 students of ZPHS Malkajgiri and ZPHS Jagathgiri nagar for 2 hours. The volunteers conducted a basline test before starting the session to understand the knowledge level of the students and have taken the session accordingly. On 23-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Fundamentals of Coding". 16 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 113 students from ZPHS Jagathgiri nagar for 2 hours. The volunteers also shared the knowledge on website basics and creating a user account in different websites. The session was very useful and interesting. On 20-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Pepsi" has conducted a session on "Usage of Digital Devices". 4 volunteers from "Pepsi" have imparted knowledge to 50 students of GHS Madaguda and KGBV Narayanpet. We had an amazing session on empowering women in all fields of life. We at Nirmaan Organization, thank Betty Patnaik, Pritha Saha, Aarkaja Das and Shree Parida from Epiq for taking up a session on “Women in Science & Technology – How to build your Confidence” to the students of GICC, Noida. Our special thanks to Megan Willis for joining all the way from the USA to boost their confidence level and share her strength and what it takes to be a great leader. This session has been organized as a part of DEI India Chapter Community Outreach at Epiq and has benefited 40 students. Students loved interacting with Megan and the entire team and a few students also shared their paintings with the team during the session. We truly appreciate and recognize your valuable time and efforts for this Volunteering activity and look forward to collaborating on more events in the future.
On 20-May-2022, A volunteering session has been conducted on "Descipline" with the help of Nirmaan's corporate partners CGI and Infosys. 2 volunteers have imparted knowledge to 40 students from ZPHS Pochampally and ZPHS Sangareddy. On 20-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Fundamentals of Coding and Real Life Algorithms". 10 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 27 students from ZPHS Hydernagar and ZPHS Chintalguda. The practical examples and drag and drop exercises helped the students understand the concepts easily. On 19-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "EY" has conducted a session on "Written Communication Skills". Mrs Vartika Mathur and Mr Ramachandra Murthy from "EY" have imparted knowledge to 40 Aspirants at Ameerpet Center. The volunteers made the session live and interactive by making the students participate in the activities on the topic and educated them on business email writing. On 18-may-2022 Phase-2 of Coding Initiative Program is started by Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" for degree students of TTWRDC at four locations i.e., Shadnagar, NagarKurnool, Medak and Jangaon. 1 volunteer from "Cognizant" has taken the session to 25 students. On 18-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Digital Literacy STEM". 17 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 71 students for 2 hours. The volunteers covered various topics from basics of computers to different languages of computer. On 18-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Pepsi" has conducted a session on "Public Speaking Skills". 4 volunteers from "Pepsi" have imparted knowledge to 50 students from ZPHS Turkapally, GHS Madagurda, and KGBV Narayanpet. The session was very interactive and informative. The tips shared by volunteers on how to overcome stage fear which is a major hurdle in public speaking were very much useful to the students. On 18-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "HSBC" has conducted a session on "Communication Skills". 4 volunteers from "HSBC" have imparted knowledge to 90 students of GHS Jeevan bhima nagar school. The volunteers explained why communication skills are important and covered various type of communication skills like verbal, non verbal, written and listening. Session was interesting and helpful. on 17-May-2022, DDI lab has been inaugurated by chief guest from Nirmaan's corporate parnter "Micron" in ZPHS Ganesh nagar school. 15 volunteers from Micron have visited the school and interacted with the students.
