With support of Firstsource, today, we are launching two spokes of Tele-ICU for Govt General Hospital, Siddipet and District Hospital, Gajwel. These two hospitals are from rural parts of Telangana.
Verizon India and Nirmaan Organization launch a first-of-its-kind Mobile Career Counselling Lab in Telangana equipped with digital infrastructure and technology based applications for students in rural India .In the first year, this ‘Career Counselling on Wheels’ initiative will reach out to 10,000 students and youth in 9 remote districts of Telangana. ‘Career Counselling on Wheels’ initiative in its first year as a pilot project will conduct about 150-200 sessions reaching out to over 10,000 students and youth in about 6-9 remote districts of Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool in Telangana.

Mr. Rajesh Nambiar, Chairman and Managing Director, cognizant India, met with our Nirmaan students who presented their coding skills to him.
Pragati Santosh Tilak is a brilliant student studying in 9th standard at Karamveer Bhausaheb Hire School, Pune. She lost her father at an early age and her mother works in a hospital and runs the household. Pragati was very keen on learning the computer but due to financial constraints, she could not pursue her passion. After the inauguration of the Digital Lab supported by HSBC Software Development India and NirmaanOrganization, Pragati has gotten an opportunity to gain knowledge on computers and fulfill her passion. She is thankful to both the organizations for the set-up of this digital lab which will help many such students like her to access digital knowledge and information.
We are thrilled to share the heart-warming story of a 1.7 kg baby who was admitted due to being underweight to the Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) at Mother and Child Health Hospital, Nalgonda. With the equipment supported to the Neonatal ICU by our donor, Cigniti, the baby was able to receive the life-saving care and support that is required to survive. We believe that every baby deserves the best possible start in life regardless of their background or circumstances. But many of them lose their lives due to no proper access to medical care and support. Thanks to Cigniti’s healthcare initiative, around 1000+ critical infants benefitted and many children are given a chance to fight for their life. Also, we thank the Doctors and medical staff at Mother and Child Health who work tirelessly to care for these vulnerable newborns. Their dedication and expertise are truly life-changing for these babies and their families.

Perfect nails bring self-confidence (The Unspoken Truth). Nail art has become a beauty standard with the growing demand for beautiful nail designs. Many women show interest in having creative nail art. They started investing their time and money in learning it. We are glad to extend our help to our women beneficiaries from our Beauty Parlour course, Nirmaan VTC (Pune), in Nail art training as it would help them keep on par with the trendy looks and as such generates income to them. All 50 students actively participated in the session and are thankful to HSBC Technology India and Nirmaan Organization for coming up with innovative training.

Volunteering sessions help students to get involved and gain knowledge on the topic. We want our students not just to follow the academic books and score good marks, rather we focus on their career growth as well. We conduct volunteering sessions on a wide range of topics at Government schools and our centers. A team of three volunteers from SenecaGlobal conducted a virtual volunteering session on Aptitude and Logical reasoning for 30 students at Nirmaan YEP, Ameerpet, and explained the topic effectively. The volunteers had given the beneficiaries a few tricks to solve the problems quickly and assisted them in solving a few logical problems by presenting example questions on the screen. The students are thankful to the volunteers as it could help them in the interview process where Aptitude and logical reasoning has become one such critical process in clearing the interview. Also, it has conducted a virtual volunteering session on Email and Excel Workshop for 30 students at Nirmaan YEP, Ameerpet. The session focused on the dos and don’ts of Email Writing, and how to implement formulas in Excel sheets. Further, they presented practical instances and suggested to the beneficiaries how to apply a few shortcut keys. The volunteers also conducted a virtual volunteering session on Advanced MS Excel for 40 students of ZPHSNarmetta School. The session focused on data filtering, data formatting, and the basics of Pivot tables and macros. We are thankful to the volunteers of SenecaGlobal for scheduling time to educate our beneficiaries on valuable topics and giving advice by presenting factual instances.
Training and development initiatives within an organization are educational activities that are designed to improve the job performance of an individual or a group. These programs typically involve advancing employees’ knowledge and skill sets, thereby instilling a greater motivation to enhance their job performance. Acquiring skills should always be a priority especially when it comes to the teachers who are teaching the future citizens of India. Nirmaan Organization had organized a 2-day Training program for Coding Instructors, Computer Teachers, and Program Coordinators all across India. The training was given on Communication Skills, Email Etiquette, MS Office, HTML, and CSS concepts. There were #leadership sessions on Finance, Human Resources, and Organizational updates.
Nirmaan Organization in collaboration with HSBC Technology India has set up a digital lab in government-aided Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hire High School, Pune. Students will be provided training on basic computer skills and coding, which can be very useful skills to have, to survive in any organization. Through videos, students will be able to visualize complex topics and understand them in a better way.
