ServiceNow Supports Flood Relief Efforts in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh with 500 Relief Kits

We are deeply grateful to ServiceNow for standing by flood-affected families in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, providing 500 much-needed relief kits. These much-needed contributions to our flood-relief campaign, launched by HYSEA in partnership with Nirmaan, enabled the successful distribution of 250 relief kits in both Khammam District, Telangana, and NTR District, Andhra Pradesh. We are thankful to our partner, ServiceNow, for their support during times of disaster, including their steadfast assistance to flood-hit families during the devastating floods in Tamil Nadu and Assam. Together, let’s continue to make a difference in the lives of many more underprivileged communities.
Nirmaan Organization’s Collaboration with DBS Tech India: Promoting Sustainability and Environmental Awareness

We at Nirmaan Organization are thrilled to share our recent collaboration with DBS Tech India. Happy to share Dr. A.V. Ramanjaneyulu, Principal Scientist (Agro.) & Head of AICRP on Agroforestry from PJTSAU, Hyderabad, joined us as a guest speaker at dbstechindia. This session was organised as part of dbstechindia’s Sustainability Awareness Month Campaign. Dr. Ramanjaneyulu inspired us with his insights on the vital roles of the environment, the UN Sustainability Goals, biodiversity, and vulnerabilities to climate extremities. His discussion on practical sustainability practices emphasized how small, conscious actions can lead to a significant impact on our environment. We thank Kusum Makhija and Amina Mehnaz for spearheading DBS Tech India’s Sustainability Awareness Month Initiatives. In addition to this impactful session, we are proud to highlight our earlier achievements, including the renovation of a pond, plantation efforts at Agricultural University, and the mass planting of 500 trees in the Botanical Garden. We are also actively working on establishing a Dry Resource Collection Centre (DRCC) in Nizampet Municipality. These initiatives underscore our commitment to ecological restoration and community development. Together with dbstechindia, we are dedicated to creating a greener, more sustainable future for our communities!
Successful Investiture Ceremony at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad: Inspiring the Next Generation of Leaders

On October 19, 2024, we successfully organized the Investiture Ceremony at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, where leadership responsibilities were officially handed over to the newly elected student leaders of the Hyderabad chapter. Their energy and passion truly reflect Nirmaan's core values of leadership, service, and impact. We are confident that these young leaders will inspire positive change and create a lasting difference in their communities. The event was attended by our esteemed guests, including Prashanth Nandella, President of HYSEA, Venkat S K Tankasala, one of our board members, Harish Kumar Sirapu, Assistant Vice President at State Street, and Smriti Granthi, National Vice President and All India Media Incharge for Rastriya Yuva Hindu Vahini. HYSEA Education Conclave 2024: Empowering Marginalized Communities Through Technology-Driven Education

On October 18, 2024, Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association successfully organized the HYSEA Education Conclave 2024 at Infosys Ltd., Hyderabad, bringing together leaders from the IT industry, government, and education sectors to explore the role of technology in democratizing education. We were honored to be part of the panel discussions, focusing on enhancing the quality of education for marginalized communities and extending educational opportunities to rural areas through technology. We were privileged to have Dr. D. Anasuya Seethakka, Hon’ble Minister for Panchayati Raj & Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, and Women & Child Welfare, Government of Telangana, as the Chief Guest, along with esteemed guests Mr. Murali Akunuri, IAS Retd, Alagu Varshni V S, IAS, Secretary, TSWREIS, and Divakar T S, IAS, Collector & District Magistrate, Mulugu. In her address, Dr. Seethakka highlighted the vital role of CSR initiatives in transforming education for marginalized communities, urging IT companies to invest in rural education. We were proud to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the 18 corporates recognized for their contributions to Nirmaan’s Disruptive Digital Intervention (DDI) Program. This initiative has directly impacted over 20,000 students and indirectly benefited more than 1.6 lakh students through 40 Digital Labs established in government schools across Telangana. A special thanks to all our corporate partners and supporters for their commitment to empowering communities through education and creating a lasting impact.
Celebrating Craftsmanship: 53 Handmade Vest Coats Delivered to NRIs by SWASHA Artisans for Dussehra and Diwali

We are excited to announce the successful distribution of 53 vest coats to NRIs from the ASSOCIATION OF INDO AMERICANS (AIA) in the USA for the celebration of Dussehra and Diwali. These vest coats were crafted with love and care by the skilled women artisans from SWASHA (SWAyam SHAkti) by Nirmaan and are sourced from the finest Ikat and Pochampally cotton fabrics through the Telangana State Handloom Weavers' Cooperative Society (TSCO). We’ve also received orders for 15 more vest coats, and these beautiful pieces will be dispatched soon! A special thanks to the Association of Indo-Americans for supporting these women with each purchase.

The EPAM Ekids Program encourages students to dive into software engineering and fosters a love for lifelong learning. State Street and Nirmaan Launch Skill Development Center for Women in Bangalore, Empowering 2400 Women Across India

We are immensely grateful to our partner State Street for the successful inauguration of the Skill Development Center for women in Ambalipura, Bellandur, Bangalore, on October 8, 2024, executed by Nirmaan Organization. This is the first center among the 6 centers planned across India where there is State Street’s presence (Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai., Pune, Chennai & Coimbatore). This center is dedicated to empowering underprivileged women with vital skills for today’s job market, focusing on areas like technology and women’s entrepreneurship and preparing the students for upcoming jobs. Through these skill development centers around 2400 women will be trained and will be job ready to take up new roles across corporates and companies. It was an honor to have Joan Christel, President of State Street Foundation, along with Meenu Bhambhani, Vice President of State Street, Harish Kumar Sirapu, Aarti Swami PMP®, CLSSGB, Hima Muttavarapu, PMP Corporate Citizenship Council leads, and Mayur Patnala (India/Bharat), Founder and Global CEO of Nirmaan Organization, join us for this special occasion. Empowering Lives and Fighting Cancer: Nirmaan’s Participation in the Global Grace Cancer Run 2024

We are excited to share that our team successfully participated in the Global Grace Cancer Run 2024, organized by the Grace Cancer Foundation in Hyderabad on October 6, 2024, contributing to the goal of saving at least 25,000 lives from cancer. During the event, Praneet Nandella, a 12th-grade student from Oakridge International School, distributed reusable cloth bags crafted by the women beneficiaries of Nirmaan’s Swayam Shakti, a platform that empowers underprivileged individuals. The funds raised by Praneet as a part of the Individual Social Responsibility initiative of Nirmaan will be used to provide sewing machines to underprivileged women, enabling them to create 10,000 eco-friendly bags and supporting their journey toward financial independence. Nirmaan Hosts Multi-Speciality Health Camp & Blood Donation Camp Inaugurated by Chief Justice of Telangana High Court

On October 4, 2024, Chief Justice of Telangana High Court, Hon’ble Sri Justice Alok Aradhe, inaugurated a Multi-Speciality Health Camp & Blood Donation Camp, organized by Nirmaan in partnership with Firstsource and Osmania General Hospital, held on the premises of the High Court in Ghansi Bazar, Hyderabad, Telangana. The free multi speciality health camp brought together 11 specialist doctors, including cardiologists, gynecologists, general physicians, general surgeons, emergency medicine specialists, orthopedic surgeons, psychiatrists, and pathologists, to provide essential healthcare services to 297 patients. Our impactful blood donation camp also saw 35 employees generously donate blood, making a significant contribution towards saving lives in our community. The event was honored by the presence of Hon’ble Sri Justice Alok Aradhe, along with other judges of the High Court, the President of the Telangana High Court Advocates Association, and senior leadership from Osmania General Hospital and FirstSource. At Nirmaan, we're committed to enhancing healthcare access and supporting our community with meaningful initiatives.
