We are delighted to announce that our distinguished donor OpenText, in partnership with Nirmaan Organization, has launched today, the first-ever Café, 'Hope In A Cup' which is truly inclusive. The cafe would be run by our LGBTQIA+ individuals at OpenText's Hyderabad office, today. This initiative marks a significant milestone. OpenText is likely the first company in India to open a truly inclusive cafe, fully managed by LGBTQIA+ individuals, inside its office campus, and operating on a 100% sustainable model. In line with our commitment to celebrating Pride Month beyond June, this is not only our third 'Hope In A Cup' cafe franchise but also the first franchise being operated in "Truly inclusive " environment in Hyderabad, showing our dedication to empowering LGBTQIA+ communities. At Nirmaan Organization, we are strongly committed to initiating this unique initiative across India soon, creating an inclusive society for everyone. A sincere gratitude to OpenText and its dedicated senior leadership team, Mr. Manoj Nagpal, Vice President at OpenText, Managing Director - India; Ms. Sangeetha Yanamandra, Vice President of Engineering, Site Leader of Hyderabad; Mr. Srinivasa Prasad Vemuru, Head of Facilities - India for their initiative in opening this cafe in unique model which demonstrates Opentext commitment in promoting truly inclusive culture and their dedication to uplifting semi-skilled and unskilled LGBTQIA+ communities. We are Thrilled to Announce the Successful Inauguration of the Digital Lab at ZPHS Hyder Nagar

With the generous support of Demandbase India Pvt Ltd and Nirmaan Organization as the implementation partner, we are thrilled to announce the successful inauguration of the Digital Lab at ZPHS Hyder Nagar on 08 August 2024. This state-of-the-art lab, equipped with 15 desktops, a smart board with a CPU, a dedicated IT trainer, and enhanced facilities including electrical upgrades, fresh paint, and new flooring, will benefit nearly 550 students We were honored to have Deepti Gelli, Country Head of Demandbase, as the chief guest, along with Mayur Patnala, Founder and Global CEO of Nirmaan, and Nikhil Gampa, Head of Partnerships and Fundraising at Nirmaan, who provided unwavering support. A special thanks to Demandbase leaders Venu Karadi, Hardeep Kaur its 10 enthusiastic volunteers for making this day a grand success. Together, we are empowering the next generation with digital skills!

We’re excited to share that Smt. Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, along with Smt. Divya Devarajan, IAS, CEO of SERP and Shri. Divakar T S, IAS, Collector of Mulugu, chaired the Telangana Rural Development Summit-2024 today at Praja Bhavan, Hyderabad, enabled by Nirmaan Organization. The summit brought together all our esteemed corporate partners and stakeholders, aiming to focus on adopting rural villages across Telangana with the significant goal of the ‘1 Corporate-1 Village’ initiative as a pilot project.

We are excited to share that the Nirmaan Student Leadership Summit, held from July 25 to 27, 2024, in Hyderabad, was an immense success. This event brought together executive committee members from our Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad BITS student chapters for a shared learning experience. It was a great platform for all students from these chapters, including our newly onboarded chapters from G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science, CMR, St. Mary's, IMT, and Badruka colleges, to exchange knowledge with each other. The three-day summit began with visits to the Lingampally Primary and Secondary School, the Vocational Training Center at Fatehnagar, and the Skill Center in Madhura Nagar. Students had an opportunity to interact with beneficiaries and gained insight into Nirmaan's initiatives. An interactive session about the "Hope in a Cup'' café at the Ikeva office in Madhapur followed. The dedicated leaders at Nirmaan delivered inspiring speeches, followed by sessions on organizational structure and departmental functionalities. Students from the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad chapters presented their annual reports and future plans. A panel discussion with our CSR leaders from Cognizant, Novartis, @IOCL, and F5 Networks provided valuable insights on the role of students in community service and the advantages of engaging with the community at an early age. We were honored to have Prashanth Nandella, President of HYSEA, as our esteemed guest. We thank our student leaders, partners, and guests for making this summit a great success.
Community Service Day: St. Mary’s College and Nirmaan Support KGBV Students with Donations

Community Service Day with St. Mary’s College On 3rd August 2024, the Department of English and Languages at St. Mary's College, Yousufguda, in collaboration with Nirmaan, observed Community Service Day with a heartwarming initiative. The department members generously donated trunks and essential stationery items to ten chosen KGBV girl students in the Community-Based Child Care Program (CBCP). These children, many from single-parent households where the parent works as a daily wage laborer, face significant financial challenges. At Rainbow Home, we are committed to bridging this gap and ensuring these children have access to the essentials they need to thrive. We are grateful for St. Mary’s College's support in helping to fulfill these children's needs and desires.
A Fantastic Opportunity for the Students to Explore the Corporate World

On July 25, 2024, we were delighted to host 10 bright ZPHS Ganesh Nagar School students at the Syniverse office in Hyderabad. These talented 8th to 10th graders impressed us with their Obstacle Avoider car STEM project, showcasing their innovation and technical skills nurtured through our STEM lab initiative at their school. The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for the students to explore the corporate world, gain insights into software development, and learn about Syniverse’s role in the telecom industry. The day concluded with a special lunch, during which students and employees connected and shared their aspirations for a brighter future. We express our heartfelt gratitude to Syniverse for making this day engaging and inspiring for these young minds. We extend our sincere thanks to the leadership of Kalyan Chakravarthy and Sumangali Yechuri Naga for providing us with the opportunity.
Nirmaan, in collaboration with Silicon Labs, Hosted a Multi-Speciality Health Camp

On 22nd July 2024, in Kothapet, Kesampet Mandal, Rangareddy, Nirmaan, in collaboration with Silicon Labs, hosted a Multi-Speciality Health Camp. This initiative brought together five specialist doctors to provide essential healthcare services to the community. A total of 319 patients received medical attention during this camp. Among them were 162 female and 138 male children under 18, along with 10 adult females and 9 adult males. Additionally, 108 CBP tests and 319 Blood Grouping tests were conducted to ensure comprehensive care. A heartfelt thank you to Silicon Labs and all the healthcare professionals who made this event a success. Together, we are making a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community.

The Kitchen Garden at KGBV RC Puram School is set to bloom into a hub of learning and sustainability! On July 19, 2024, we inaugurated Project Green Hope Kitchen Garden, generously supported by Calibo, aiming to teach students the seed-to-plate concept and give them hands-on experience in growing their own food. The garden will supply nutritious food, promoting healthier eating habits among the students. With 230 enthusiastic students participating, we believe that Project Green Hope will empower these young minds to make informed choices about their food and environment. Incredible Opportunity to partner with PepsiCo at ZPHS Beeramguda to Distribute Back To School kits

On July 15, 2024, we had the incredible opportunity to partner with PepsiCo at ZPHS Beeramguda to distribute back-to-school kits and ensure students are well-prepared for the academic year. 100 PepsiCo volunteers also provided one-on-one career guidance to students, offering invaluable advice and support. As part of Vanamahotsavam, key leaders planted several saplings on the school grounds, contributing to a greener and healthier environment. This event not only equipped 200 students with essential supplies but also inspired them towards a brighter future while promoting environmental sustainability. The Establishment of a Digital and STEM Lab at ZPHS Kishan Nagar in Farooqnagar, Ranga Reddy, Telangana

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new initiative, the establishment of a Digital and STEM Lab at ZPHS Kishan Nagar in Farooqnagar, Ranga Reddy, Telangana. This project aims to provide 175 students from Classes 6 to 10 with access to digital labs and bridge the digital divide, ensuring equal opportunities for all. The budget and sustainability cost for setting up the Digital and STEM Lab is ₹20,00,000. The Launch of the Dry Resource Collection Centre (DRCC) in Nizampet, Hyderabad

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Dry Resource Collection Centre (DRCC) in Nizampet, Hyderabad. This sustainable waste management initiative is supported by DBS Tech India. With over 50,000 residents, Nizampet faces immense waste management challenges daily. The new DRCC aims to tackle this by collecting and processing dry waste for recycling. By diverting waste from landfills, it promotes environmental sustainability and creates economic opportunities for the community.
