When you educate one person you change a life, when you educate many you can change the world.” – Shai Reshef Synopsys Inc and Nirmaan Organization together started an initiative to adopt government schools and develop them into model schools to educate many underprivileged students. Synopsys as part of its CSR initiative provided infrastructure support to the ZPHS R P colony which includes Solar plant, Class room repair works, RO Plant, Duel deck benches, Electric repairs and Civil works, etc. The management of the School was grateful for the support provided by Synopsys in implementing the Program. We express our sincere gratitude to Synopsys Inc for their generous support. On 13-June-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Scratch Programming and Gaming". 5 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 70 students of NCR schools for 2 hours. The session was interactive and students enjoyed working on the scratch platform. On 10-June-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "STEM Learning and Fundamentals of Coding". 20 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 270 students of NCR schools for 2 hours. The session was interactive and students participated in the session with great enthusiasm. The session covered various topics from different computer parts to browsing internet safely and was very much helpful for the students. The topic was well explained with realt-time examples and provided the beneficiaries with good knowledge. PepsiCo GBS India team conducted Seed Ball making activity at their office in Hyderabad on June 8 to celebrate WorldEnvironmentWeek. Nirmaan Organization and The Akshaya Foundation as non-profit partners to support this initiative. 27 Girl students from KGBV (Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya), Sadashivpet, Telangana participated in the #SeedBall making activity. The objective of this activity was to provide an opportunity for the girls to meet senior leaders and HBS employee volunteers and learn more about #EnvironmentConservation measures. Together approx. 700 seed balls were created including fruits and flower seeds in an interactive session. The seed balls created will be planted at four KGBV schools in Hyderabad, where PepsiCo GBS India has either set up digital labs, or are in the process of setting up one for the girl students. This is an effort to educate and empower the girls to realize their full potential by providing them with access to digital education and helping them to emerge as responsible citizens, committed towards the cause of the environment and the community.
