On 09-June-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Cognizant" has conducted a session on "Introduction of Scratch". 3 volunteers from "Cognizant" have imparted knowledge to 21 students of ZPHS Malkajgiri and ZPHS Jagathgiri Nagar for 2 hours. Students loved the scrtach platform and participated in the sessions with great enthusiasm. PepsiCo GBS India team conducted Seed Ball making activity at their office in Hyderabad on June 8 to celebrate WorldEnvironmentWeek. Nirmaan Organization and The Akshaya Foundation as non-profit partners to support this initiative. 27 Girl students from KGBV (Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya), Sadashivpet, Telangana participated in the #SeedBall making activity. The objective of this activity was to provide an opportunity for the girls to meet senior leaders and HBS employee volunteers and learn more about #EnvironmentConservation measures. Together approx. 700 seed balls were created including fruits and flower seeds in an interactive session. The seed balls created will be planted at four KGBV schools in Hyderabad, where PepsiCo GBS India has either set up digital labs, or are in the process of setting up one for the girl students. This is an effort to educate and empower the girls to realize their full potential by providing them with access to digital education and helping them to emerge as responsible citizens, committed towards the cause of the environment and the community.

Students thouroughly enjoyed the session and loved the scratch platform. On 02-June-2022, safe lockers were distributed to Shanigakunta village fire accident victims. Additional Superintendent of Police, Mr. Ashok Kumar (IPS) has attended as the chief guest to the event. It was a real joy to see the happiness of the victims.
