I had much more money than you ever need in your life to live on. So I was giving computer labs to school districts. I was - but then I decided you should really give yourself. — Steve Wozniak On 19th November 2022, EPAM in partnership with Nirmaan Organization inaugurated the Computer Lab at GHS Doddakallasandra, Bangalore. In this Program Mr.Mahesh Kasaragod Director-Technology Solutions, EPAM India, Mr.John Immanual CSR Lead EPAM, Mrs. Narmada Kankanala, Technology lead, Nirmaan, SDMC President Shri Rajachari S, High School Headmaster Mr. Suresh, All other teachers, Students, SDMC Members, Parents, EPAM Volunteers and Nirmaan Team members are participated. An advantage of having computer-assisted instruction in the classroom is that the computer can serve as a tutor. Teachers can only aid students in the learning process so far. Computers can assist teachers and act as a tutor for the students who are falling behind. Computer labs provide a time and space to develop skills not directly related to classroom curriculum. These skills can be first learned in the lab. Then mastered through ongoing application at home and in the classroom. The school management was very grateful for the support extended by EPAM through the Digital lab under eKIDS program. We from Nirmaan Organization express our sincere gratitude to @EPAM and its senior leadership, CSR Team and volunteers for their generous support and guidance.

The Bhumi Foundation and Nirmaan have stepped up to support Government School students to continue their education. The support was extended to the whole community as well as to the families. The students are below the poverty line, they are orphans and single-parent students. They come to the school by walking five kilometers from where they live. These bicycles are useful to them since even though they study well, they are always late due to the distance. The students were delighted to receive these bicycles because they felt happier.

Have you ever thought, how do people remember you? Do you think that it’s really important to think how others think about you? Does it effect your life? The answer for the later questions is YES. Our aspirants @ Nirmaan Organization @ Kukatpally, have unlocked the first door that leads to wisdom - It is “knowing about themselves”. In this process, aspirants were asked to figure out their identities and write them on their left hand fingers. Next, they were asked to ponder on the root causes for those identities on the right hand fingers. Here, identities mean the qualities with which others remember us. Then, they judged whether the identities were good or bad. Based on their judgement, they came up with some counter measures to overcome their bad identities and also to work hard on improving their good identities. The trainer had shared the real-life experience of Dr. Alfred Noble, which impacted the students. It made them realize that knowing about themselves and understanding their identities has a direct connection to their success. Self- introspection helped them to refine their personality and blossom themselves in to beautiful flowers that spread their wonderful fragrance of good personality.
