Coding is the need of the hour. Cognizant Volunteers through the Nirmaan had implemented a Coding initiative program for the students of Telangana Tribal Welfare Degree College. A total of 150 students from four degree colleges were impacted with the program as a pilot run for the last academic year. The program had shown great results in terms of students’ critical and computational skills. 10 Volunteers from Cognizant had contributed 450+ hours for the coding initiative program. We would like to thank the leadership of Cognizant, Siva Banavari for his efforts in implementing the program. We are looking forward to implementing more such programs this year too.
Almost 65% of India’s Youth, from underserved communities, do not have the skills that make them employable. This keeps them from securing a job that can help them break the cycle of poverty. Education alone does not help in shaping these skills. Life skills training is essential to make the youth of our country employable. Through our Nirmaan Future Ready Youth Skilling Programme, we train women youth in communications, problem solving, SWOT analysis, team building and preparing them to enter work. When they have these skills, they have a fair chance to transform their lives, attain a good job and move towards a better future.

How to take help from help features in power point.

Teaching comes from home. In India, people don’t talk about menstrual hygiene. The lack of facilities affects a girl’s life. She is made to feel bad about herself during those days. Currently, in India, 64.4 percent of women aged 15-24 use sanitary napkins, 49.6 percent use cloth and 15 percent use locally prepared napkins. Health and hygiene should be the priority. However, most people neglect this. Creating awareness about menstrual hygiene is crucial in today’s time as there is so much availability of information. Teaching the students of KGBV School how to use a pad, how to dispose of it after usage, and how to maintain personal hygiene during that phase is taught. We, along with the Bhumi foundation came forward to create awareness about the same in the KGBV School, where we taught the students about menstrual hygiene. To promote this awareness we distributed 180 sanitary pads to the students.
Nirmaan.org expressed their gratitude to Vyshnavi from Yash technology for coming forward and taking the session on Menstrual hygiene for our vocational training center students at Borabanda. Total 13 students attended the session the session was very interactive, and the discussion on cultural norms and religious taboos on menstruation and how they have to take care of their nutrition during periods was very useful to the women.

On 18dec 2022, as a part of a CSR initiative, Cohance Lifesciences life sciences, in collaboration with Nirmaan Organization and SRD, organized a free health camp in Anjuman high school, Bholakpur, Musheerabad. About 829 people in the community benefited from the health camp, where medical tests and medicines are provided free of cost.

We at Nirmaan are happy to share about the recent Mock interviews conducted at Future Ready Youth Skilling Centre in Kukatpally. Aspirants have been interviewed by their trainer. It was more like a real interview. Aspirants were taught about essential interview skills and commonly asked interview questions which include behavioural and smart questions prior to their interview. They have learnt how to answer any behavioural question using STAR technique. During the Mock interview, all the aspirants have implemented their learnings. They showcased their confidence in an elegant manner. Aspirants have stated situation-based answers for most of the questions which were totally influential. Before winding-up the Mock interview, the aspirant's opinion was taken and they all quoted that this session was very useful for them as it boosted their confidence and made them adept in answering any interview questions.

Beneficiaries:- 32 students from GGIC and Kadipur school Today a wonderful session was conducted by Cognizant volunteers for students of GSSS Kadipur and GGIC School in which a total 32 students participated. The session was both exciting and informative. A number of subtopics are discussed related to cyber security like password protection and hygiene, privacy tips, location settings, fraud mails and messages, excess gaming, safe use of social media and different apps, cyberbullying, cyber help through Govt. portal, etc. The questions asked by the volunteers were really engaging.70% to 80% of students responded with the answers. Students also asked various questions to the volunteers. Today, it was the last session of the Cyber Security series. Volunteers gave their feedback that they are very happy with the response of students throughout the sessions and would like to conduct more such sessions.

Our heartfelt gratitude to ADP for giving us the opportunity to set up the stall in the ADP office as it was a joy of giving month and supporting women by purchasing their products.We have displayed various products prepared by women like diyas,jute bag,cloth bags,silk thread jewelry,blouses dresses etc.
We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Ms.RATNA SAHITHI for her wonderful guest lecturer and active participation in the virtual event ‘Art and Craft’ It was an inspiring session for our school students and teachers. This kind of session will be very useful in any situation for our mental ability. The topics covered are the layout of art, drawing, cutting, art and different patterns. 30 students from KGBV School benefited from this. It was a great session and well explained. Students enjoyed, were impressed and actively participated in the session. Students are excited about future sessions. Our sincere thanks to CGI for supporting us.
Nirmaan Organization has started the “School Adoption Program” in Patloor School, Vikarabad with the support of Carrier Technologies India Limited. Under this program so many infrastructures are improved that will be useful for the school and these will help to bring changes in the student's academic progress.
