Coding Initiative Programs

Midst the upcoming hackathon in a couple of months, visited one of the government girls school. I was pleasantly surprised to see the youngcoders and their codingprojects. It is definitely not overnight efforts which these extraordinay and #talented kids do. The hackathon has become the most anticipated event across #Hyderabad #Chennai and #Bangalore. This is the 3rd year, the students have started with basics of #scratch in the initial year and adding to it, #html, #css and now #python. Way to go girls. Nirmaan Organization wishes you all the best! Coding Initiative Program focuses on the critical thinking and career path towards STEM. We invite, 1. Volunteer Activity at GBHS Goushcut

Sometimes, the most beautiful artwork is not on canvas but in the hearts of those who selflessly serve. Mr. Raghavendra Ganji, an HCL Volunteer, left a lasting impression on our hearts by spending 22 hours painting the walls of GBHS Goushcut Digital Lab and StemLab with the HCL Foundation Logo and Nirmaan Organization Logo, volunteering 11 hours at each school. We are profoundly grateful to Mr. Raghavendra Ganji for generously sharing his time, talent, and unwavering commitment to our schools. His artwork not only adorns our walls but also raises awareness about organizations, their missions, and the values they stand for. It is individuals like him who remind us of the tremendous impact one person can have when they choose to make a difference.

Session on Understanding Mental Health

Childhood and adolescence are critical stages of life for mental health. This is a time where rapid growth and development of cognitive and social-emotional skills that shape their future and are important for assuming adult roles in society. Worldwide, 10% of children and adolescents experience a mental disorder, but the majority of them do not seek help or receive care. Understanding mental health: Breaking barriers Our inability to address mental health can be measured by how little societies are willing to talk about or understand it. The fear of harsh words, laughter and abuse that underline the stigma around mental health make it harder for children, adolescents and caregivers to express their feelings. The #UNICEF and #WHO Joint Programme on Mental Health and Psychosocial Well-being and Development of Children and Adolescents #(the “Joint Programme”) has a bold vision: By 2030, aims to achieve this by strengthening support and services, which will be given for children, adolescents and their caregivers. Child well-being is associated with caregiver mental health. However, positive mental health – defined as the presence of positive emotions, psychological functioning, and social functioning – likely prevents depression and in caregivers may benefit children. Little attention has been given to how caregivers sustain positive mental health, particularly when doing challenging work in impoverished settings. TRAINING CAREGIVERS The full-time caregivers at orphanages have love and a sincere desire to help the children they care for, but they often lack training on how to handle the complex behavioral and emotional problems that arise from a child’s past traumatic experiences. In view of above discussion, extending my gratitude and thankfulness to @ Rainbow Homes Program ,Aharoan Kankanala Kranti Kiran Srilatha Morampudi for initiating MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WORKSHOP for 3 days and around 50 kind hearted people who are working for the children and also made themselves more aware about mental health and its importance,learned about how to identify and help children and ownselves with mental health illness and promoting better health physically and mentally. Happy to offer more help than this , anywhere and everywhere ,in future for the best happy and healthy community ..

Conducted Blood Camp in NOIDA

14th September will be a memorable day for cognizant and nirmaan both because Today #cognizant and #nirmaan has conducted blood camp in #NOIDA branch of cognizant. The programme has been started and throughout the day about 155 people came to donate the blood*. Also cognizant and Nirmaan both provided a very good facility to the doctors and cognizant volunteer and nirmaan volunteer helped alot throughout the programme. It was a successful event as we believe many lives will be saved by this small and simple effort. As we reach out to you for help, to change a life by donating your precious blood, and to have compassion for the needy. People get inspired by actions, more than words. #155people came forward to donate blood and made this blood donation camp a huge success. Session on Mock Interviews and Resume Building

We are excited to announce our first-ever volunteering session with Volunteers at Amazon! On September 28th, we had the privilege of hosting 22 dedicated Amazon #volunteers who joined us virtually to uplift and empower our Women in Technology #beneficiaries. They volunteered to help 30 students with mock interviews and resume building, bridging the gap between academia and industry. The room was filled with valuable knowledge-sharing and #mentorship. We hope that this collaboration will give our women valuable insights and teach them how to sharpen their skills and dream big in the tech world. We express our sincere #gratitude to #Amazon and its volunteers for this wonderful #opportunity. We look forward to the possibility of more volunteering sessions with Amazon in the future.

Launched the ImpactHiring Technology Portal today! We are happy to announce that the ImpactHiring Portal which built by Microsoft & Nirmaan Organization on #Azure is now officially #launched and open for everyone to use. We were #hounoured to have the portal launched by our Chief Guests from Government and #Corporates side Smt. Alagu Varshni, IAS, Telangana State Government and Mr Mayank Wadhwa, #GDC Leader from Microsoft. There were #140+ leaders and #representation from all the #stakeholders who joined #physically and #virtually for the launch #event. During the launch event, #HRleaders, #governmentofficials, and #CSR leaders emphasized the significance of #impacthiring. Priyanka, a #beneficiary, shared her inspiring journey, #highlighting how the program #equipped her with the #skills needed to secure a role as an #Executive. Giveback to your Janmabhumi, Karmabhumi. One School at a time/ one village at a time, let’s build the developed nation Revisiting my school (Govt Primary School Annaram where I studied till 5th grade) after two decades was an awesome feeling. The changes were evident, but what truly overwhelmed me were the echoes of my childhood – memories of playing with friends, those playful fights, and the little things that once meant the world. As I stood there, I couldn't help but reflect on the impact this place had on shaping who I am today. It's a reminder that our roots, our beginnings, are an integral part of our journey. But it's not just about nostalgia; it's about giving back. We, at Nirmaan, are planning to reach our janmabhumi to contribute to our Schools where we studied.

Ganesh Idol-Making activity

On September 12th and 13th, our dedicated Nirmaan team, with hearts full of enthusiasm, collaborated with YASH Technologies in Pune, Indore, and Hyderabad for the Ganesh Idol-Making activity. We crafted beautiful Ganesh idols using clay, molds, vibrant colours, dry powder, and some disposable items. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and happiness as we molded the clay, joyfully getting our hands dirty together, and sharing ideas and tips. During the process, we ensured responsible management of disposal items, celebrating our culture and traditions in an eco-friendly way. Kudos to all the 200+ enthusiastic volunteers who actively participated in this idol-making initiative and for their commitment to preserving our culture and promoting sustainability. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Yash Technologies for their collaboration and invaluable support in helping us promote creativity and sustainability in such a wonderful way.
