we had the honor of inaugurating a Women in Technology Center in Warasiguda, in collaboration with Capital Group. This initiative aims to empower underprivileged women aged between 18 and 30 years, by providing them with training and skill development opportunities in Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES). Our inaugural batch includes twenty enthusiastic and determined young women who are ready to lead the way in this initiative. They will receive training and mentorship that will help them achieve their dreams and aspirations. We were delighted to have Mr. Sreeranga Beyyala, Technology Leader at Capital Group, join us in this initiative. His passion for education and empowerment is truly inspiring. We express our sincere gratitude to Capital Group for their generous support and commitment to empowering underprivileged women through our Women in Technology program.
In the heart of Hyderabad's Botanical Garden, Nirmaan Organization, in collaboration with UBS and the Telangana State Forest Development Corporation (TSFDC LTD), organized a massive plantation drive on October 7th. This event brought together 270 dedicated UBS volunteers who planted 600 saplings from ten various species. With each sapling placed in the soil, our connection with nature grew stronger, and our commitment to environmental responsibility deepened. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our esteemed guests, including Mr. Ranjith Nayak, IFS - Executive Director of Eco-tourism, and Mr. M. J. Akbar IFS (Retd.) Director, Dr. G Skylab, Assistant Director of Eco-tourism, Mr. T.P Thimma Reddy IFS - OSD of Ecotourism, and K. Suman- Project Manager of Eco-tourism, from TSFDC. Their expertise and dedication to environmental conservation inspire us to continue our mission toward a more sustainable world. We are also profoundly grateful to the UBS team, Their active participation and enthusiasm significantly contributed to the success of our plantation drive. On September 27th, Nirmaan, along with 13 Wells Fargo volunteers, gathered at MGM Nampally School for a #volunteering session on arts and crafts to ignite the spark of creativity among students. The 2-hour session was filled with laughter, #creativity, and #learning. We had a fantastic time assisting these 70 enthusiastic 6th and 7th-class students in making beautiful flowers and pen stands. This interaction not only allowed us to share our knowledge but also provided a platform for these young minds to express themselves, explore their artistic talents, and develop valuable skills. We extend our heartfelt #gratitude to our volunteers for their commitment and invaluable contributions throughout the event. We want to express our deepest thanks to Wells Fargo for their generous support in nurturing the students' creativity and igniting a passion for learning.
We are thrilled to announce the inauguration of the Ekids Digital Lab at GHS, Arubakkam, Chennai, supported by EPAM Systems. Thanks to all the EPAM Leadership & Volunteers for joining us to kick-start the program in these schools. The EPAM Ekids Program, a remarkable CSR initiative in collaboration with Nirmaan Organization encourages young children to explore software engineering, develop skills and pursue life-long learning. The program aims to provide access to high quality computing education for students from under-represented communities across India. In alignment with the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, where coding has become an essential skill, the EKids program is playing a crucial role in helping schools integrate coding into their curriculum. With EPAM EKids' support, schools are equipped with the necessary infrastructure and skilled computer teachers, accelerating the drive towards promoting digital literacy for all. One of the most inspiring outcomes of the eKids Program is its ability to ignite a passion for technology from an early age. By exposing young minds to the world of software engineering, the program is nurturing a genuine interest in technology, paving the way for future generations to explore exciting careers in the tech industry. Soujanya Madabhushi, a senior corporate leader, recently volunteered her time to conduct a career guidance session for the students at KGBV girls' residential school in Kondapur as part of Family Social Responsibility (FSR). Soujanya shared her own experiences, making it more engaging and informative for the students. She also invited her husband, Mr. Shreenivas Prabhakararao, who is also a senior corporate leader, to conduct a session on career guidance and setting career goals for the students. Their daughter, Ms. Ananya, shared her experiences with the students, making the sessions more interesting for them. Dr. Soumya Madabhushi, Soujanya's sister and the CEO of a well-known mental health enterprise, also interacted with the students and conducted sessions that were highly satisfactory. We are grateful to Soujanya and her family for volunteering their time and providing the students with valuable guidance and awareness. Together, they created an informative and engaging session that helped the students learn about various career options and set goals for themselves. Nirmaan Organization’s volunteering event at Warasiguda, in collaboration with Synchrony, was a journey of growth and development for young professionals! From September 19 to September 23, 2023, we engaged in a week of #volunteering sessions at Warasiguda, intending to empower and prepare young individuals in the early stages of their careers for a future filled with opportunities and success. We kicked off the event on the initial two days by helping participants explore basic #communicationskills and #emailwriting. On the third day, we raised awareness about critical issues such as climate change and #health and #hygiene. Following that, sessions on leadership mindset, #stressmanagement, and time management were conducted on the fourth day. We concluded the event on the fifth day with a session on essential #interviewskills, resume building, and mock interviews, preparing the students for the competitive job market. These sessions were a stepping stone for these individuals, giving them the confidence and competence they need to succeed. We, Nirmaan Organization, take great pride in our commitment to empowering young minds through education and awareness. In collaboration with Invesco Ltd., we organized two virtual volunteer sessions on "Elements of Financial Literacy" for 25 students on the 24th of September. During this session, students were given an overview of financial literacy by Invesco volunteers, helping them easily understand topics like budgeting, saving, investing, and making informed financial decisions. The sessions were all engaging and interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and engage in discussions with the volunteers. We are immensely grateful to the Invesco volunteers for spending their time and expertise in educating these students. We express our profound gratitude to Invesco for their invaluable contribution and support in promoting financial literacy among our students. We look forward to collaborating for more such enlightening sessions.

Recent flooding in Telangana's Mulugu area has resulted in extensive damage and relocation. Numerous people have lost their homes and belongings, and thousands of people have been affected. In response to this crisis, Nirmaan Organization, with the invaluable support of the Infosys Foundation, has given out 998 back-to-home kits, including 829 utensil and clothing kits and 169 grocery kits, to flood-affected families in the Mulugu and Warangal districts. The packages came with clothes, kitchenware, bedsheets, towels, and other essentials. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Infosys Foundation and all the generous individuals who have contributed to this cause. Your support has made a significant difference in the lives of those who are facing the aftermath of the flood. Let's keep supporting one another through the tough times. One of the most rewarding aspects of implementing women's empowerment projects is witnessing the transformation of the beneficiaries through livelihood generation. Women who initially join skill development centers with high hopes of bettering their lives and supporting their families financially ultimately realize their dreams of gaining valuable skills and securing employment. Today, I had the privilege of handing out employment offer letters to our remarkable female beneficiaries who, despite facing numerous challenges and setbacks, remained steadfast and ultimately succeeded in securing employment opportunities.

It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to welcome the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) first-year students from Roda Mistry College of Social Work and Research Center to Nirmaan Organization for an insightful observational visit. The visit mainly focused on Nirmaan's history, organizational structure, and our key focus areas. As an alum of Roda Mistry College myself, it was an honor to guide and inspire the next generation of social work leaders. The orientation primarily emphasized how a professional social work background equips individuals to tackle society's challenges with innovative and sustainable solutions, with empathy and sustainability serving as the guiding light when designing projects. I also had the privilege of sharing my insights on project management and how an Agile mindset plays a pivotal role in navigating the ever-evolving CSR landscape.
