We are proud that we have empowered over 50 incredible women with insights on staying healthy, Personality Development, and Leadership skills for work-life balance! We are excited to announce our latest sustainable initiative - a Biogas Plant at Telangana Mahila Vishwavidyalam! This innovative project aims to convert 150 kg of biodegradable waste per day from one of TMV's hostels into clean energy. With this plant, we'll produce biogas to fuel cooking needs, cutting down on greenhouse gas emissions and saving on mess bills for over 7,000 women! We are thrilled to share the heartwarming success of our grocery distribution drive for orphanage children at SRD Rainbow Home, Chudi Bazar, Afzal Gunj, Hyderabad on March 1, 2024, organized by Oakridge International School, Bachupally. Thanks to 50 young student chapter volunteers from Oakridge School who stepped up as volunteers, generously donated and distributed groceries to 97 orphanage students, leaving a lasting impact on everyone. We are thrilled to announce that the Coding Initiative Program, supported by Wells Fargo, has been honored with the prestigious #SMXImpactAward for 2023-24! Over the past three years, our Wells Fargo - Nirmaan Organization Coding Initiative Program has made a profound impact, benefiting over 27,000 students from government schools in Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to empowering young minds through technology and innovation. Here are some #highlights of our award-winning program: #MonthlyChallenges: Our program fosters critical thinking and competitiveness among students from all states through monthly coding challenges. These challenges not only enhance students' coding skills but also promote collaboration and teamwork. #GrandHackathon: At the culmination of each year, we host a grand hackathon where students showcase their coding projects and compete for prizes. The hackathon provides students with a platform to apply their coding knowledge to real-world problems and unleash their creativity. Nirmaan Organization extends our heartfelt gratitude to Wells Fargo for their steadfast support and dedication to our cause. Their partnership has been instrumental in making our Coding Initiative Program a resounding success. We profusely thank the amazing leadership of Bandana Jha Sumona G. & Nitin Kashyap for the constant support and guidance throughout the project who have been part of this incredible journey. With the incredible support of Microsoft IDC, Nirmaan Organization conducted a virtual session as part of the Digital Labs program supported by Microsoft IDC on February 24, 2024, marking the first of many impactful volunteering sessions for students at eleven Telangana Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare schools. Our mission is to empower these students with essential digital skills and computer knowledge, providing them with a strong foundation for future success. A huge shout-out to the incredible Microsoft’s volunteers who joined us online, bringing their expertise and enthusiasm to enrich the learning experience for these budding minds. We extend our gratitude to Nitu Narula, Rajalakshmi R, and Microsoft IDC for facilitating such a valuable volunteering session, and we eagerly anticipate more sessions of this nature in the future.
