ICU Beds

Hospitals supported
Impacted
When COVID-19 hit India, we were not ready for its impact. Hospitals quickly ran out of beds, oxygen, and ventilators, leaving families helpless. The health system was overwhelmed, and the whole country was filled with fear and sorrow. Daily wage earners lost their jobs overnight. With no money or food, many had to walk back to their villages carrying their children.
Witnessing people’s despair in an overwhelming crisis, Nirmaan responded swiftly by providing emergency equipment, safety kits, ration, daily essentials, and livelihood support to families struggling during the pandemic, especially daily wage workers who were the most affected.
Worked with HYSEA, corporates, and individuals donors who came with us on the ground to extend relief and support to communities
Provided essentials and
ration kits to daily wage
workers and vulnerable
families
Supported women with
mask-making and livelihood opportunities
Supported hospitals with oxygen, ventilators, isolation wards, PPE kits,
and also set up
a
COVID-19 helpline
and awareness drives like Operation Sahaaya
Nirmaan has been a trusted partner in many social initiatives. During the pandemic in
Srikakulam,
when we faced a severe shortage of ICU beds, they quickly set up a fully
equipped
ICU with
ventilators and neonatal care facilities. Later, in Krishna district, they
established
a similar
ICU at Machilipatnam hospital.
Their timely support, reliability, and commitment to public welfare are truly commendable. The trust they have built with the government is immense, and I wish Nirmaan continued success in the future.
