About the program

About the Program

LGBTQIA+ individuals often face widespread discrimination, lack dignified employment and healthcare, and endure challenges in accessing services and rights in their personal lives.

To encourage a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ communities and marginalized groups, Nirmaan launched a pioneering initiative ‘Hope in a Cup’ a one-of-a-kind café led by the LGBTQIA+ community and underprivileged women, offering dignified livelihoods in the Food & Beverage sector.

Testimonials

Before joining Hope In a Cup cafe, I struggled to find a job that accepted me for who I am.
Today, I feel seen, valued, and independent. I serve people with confidence,
and I’m finally able to support my family.

— Md. Sahil, LGBTQIA+ Beneficiary
